Revisiting the Einstein-de Haas experiment: the Ampère Museum's hidden treasure
One of France's oldest science museums, the Musée Ampère, has just revealed a treasure trove hidden away in its reserves: the only complete and authentic version of the Einstein-de Haas experiment, a rare experimental work published by Albert Einstein himself. This extraordinary discovery, the fruit of research by Alfonso San Miguel, researcher at the Institut Lumière Matière - iLM (Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 / CNRS), in association with Bernard Pallandre, the museum's volunteer curator, is detailed in a forthcoming article in Europhysics News.
